Physician (Pediatrics)

About the Position: This position is located at Eisenhower Army Health Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, Directorate of Medicine-Department of Pediatrics. This is an open continuous announcement. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Major Duties: Provide appropriate examinations, diagnostic and/or treatment services for patients in ages ranging from infant through adolescent, who have pediatric and medical problems characteristic of the pediatric discipline.,Write progress notes, including history, physical, laboratory data, assessment and plan on individual outpatients.,Exercise privileges when admitting and performing follow-up to selected patients.,Participate in quality assurance, quality improvement, peer review, and similar professional medical activities in conjunction with accreditation and other standards required of medical facilities.,Participate in in-service training and informal training and teaching of military, Department of the Army Civilian and contract nurse clinicians, physician's assistants, nurses, and medical assistants. Education: FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
