Hand Solderer II - $21-25/hr

We are looking for an experienced Hand Solderer to work on electronic circuit boards (PCBAs). This job requires hands-on soldering experience with SMT and through-hole components — . You must be able to solder small electronic parts accurately and follow quality standards. This is a mid-level role for someone who can work independently, inspect their own work, and help fix basic issues during assembly and rework. Responsibilities • Hand solder SMT and through-hole electronic components on circuit boards. • Assemble, repair, and rework PCBAs. • Inspect completed work and correct soldering defects when needed. • Read work instructions, diagrams, and build documents. • Keep production and quality records updated. • Help train or guide entry-level solderers. • Use hot air tools for rework and minor repairs. • Follow all safety, ESD, and quality procedures. • Work with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goals. Requirements • High school diploma or GED required. • 2–4 years of electronic hand soldering experience required. • Experience soldering SMT and through-hole components on PCBAs. • Must be able to read assembly instructions and drawings. • IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification preferred. • Good attention to detail and steady hand coordination required. • Must be eligible to work on ITAR-controlled products and pass ITAR requirements. Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Good hand-eye coordination and close-up vision required. • Ability to sit for long periods with occasional standing or bending. • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally. • Manufacturing environment with moderate noise and exposure to soldering materials/chemicals. • Must follow all safety and ESD procedures.
