Operations Supervisor – Job Description: Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and distribution operations in a fast-paced pick/pack/ship environment with a strong focus on LTL and international shipping (air & ocean freight). This role is ideal for a proven leader from a 3PL, distribution, or logistics environment who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and understands the complexities of both domestic and international shipping operations. What You’ll Do: • Lead day-to-day operations across picking, packing, shipping, and LTL freight • Oversee international shipments (air & ocean), including documentation and coordination • Drive KPIs including productivity, order accuracy, and on-time delivery • Ensure accuracy of Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documentation • Monitor team performance and provide hands-on coaching and leadership on the floor • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and external carriers/freight partners • Identify and implement process improvements and Lean initiatives • Manage scheduling, labor planning, and support peak volume demands What We’re Looking For – Education & Experience Required: • Bachelor's degree (preferred) • 3-5+ years of Warehouse Supervisor experience in a fast-paced distribution environment (3PL experience strongly preferred) • 5+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams • Strong experience with LTL shipping operations • Experience with international shipping (air freight and/or ocean freight) and related documentation • Working knowledge of WMS and/or ERP systems (SAP preferred) • Proven ability to manage KPIs, productivity, and operational performance • A hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style with strong communication skills • Experience with Lean / continuous improvement initiatives is a plus • High level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism Why this opportunity? • Direct hire, full-time opportunity • Competitive salary (DOE) + bi-annual bonus • High-visibility role with impact on operations and team performance • Collaborative, team-oriented environment with engaged leadership • Comprehensive health benefits package starting on day one. • Generous vacation and paid time off policy • Opportunities for career growth and development • Positive and collaborative work environment Physical Demands: • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or moved up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 40 pounds Benefits: Employees are provided a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), disability, life insurance, paid time off, and voluntary benefits!
