Roofing Superintendent – Massachusetts Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Roofing Superintendent to oversee commercial roofing projects throughout Massachusetts. This individual will be responsible for managing field operations, supervising crews, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction professional with strong leadership skills, commercial roofing experience, and the ability to manage multiple job sites in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities • Supervise and coordinate commercial roofing crews on active job sites • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications • Maintain daily communication with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and office staff • Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and production goals • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance standards • Perform site inspections to maintain quality control and workmanship standards • Resolve field issues and provide solutions to keep projects moving forward • Track daily progress reports, jobsite documentation, and workforce productivity • Ensure equipment, tools, and materials are properly maintained and utilized • Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and subcontractors Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial roofing supervision • Strong knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, and metal roofing • Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction documents • OSHA certification preferred • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and crews simultaneously • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Massachusetts • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Physical Requirements • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate active construction sites • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions • Standing, walking, bending, and physical activity throughout the workday Benefits • Competitive salary and bonus structure • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance • Health, dental, and vision insurance • PTO and paid holidays • 401(k) with company match • Long-term growth opportunities within a stable roofing contractor Location Massachusetts (travel to project sites required)
