The bank is seeking AML Analyst who will have hands-on experience writing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), reviewing transaction data, and working within a regulated banking environment. Job Title: AML Investigation Analyst - SAR Writer Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid) Duration: 5 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion) Key Responsibilities: • Assist with AML Review/investigations of account activity. • Document and report the review/investigation findings and prepare case files with the required supporting documentation. • Assist with disposing cases according to agreed upon business Service Level Agreements (SLAs). • Follow-up with additional point(s) of contact as needed to identify additional information in support of the case. • Reviewing investigative history including SAR filings to disposition account closure recommendations. • Draft written recommendations for relationship closure where appropriate. • Communicate with senior management on compliance, legal and business AML issues. Qualifications: • Bachelors/University degree. • 1-2+ years of experience in Anti Money Laundering within a large global bank. • Must have experience writing and preparing SARs. • Proficient in MS Office. • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
