Role Description The Flex Sales Associate role at Belk is a part-time, on-site position located in Charlotte, NC. The Flex Sales Associate will be responsible for assisting customers with their shopping experience, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor. Additional responsibilities include promoting sales, offering product recommendations, processing transactions, and supporting inventory management tasks. This role may also involve participating in merchandising and store setup activities as needed. Qualifications • Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage and assist a wide range of customers effectively • Knowledge of merchandising or retail sales, including managing inventory and maintaining an organized store environment • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the store • Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing role is a plus • Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and technology used in retail settings • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
