Datacenter Operations Tech

Position: Datacenter Operations Tech Compensation: $40 - $46 /hour, depending on experience Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Datacenter Operations Tech to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on in datacenter operations, focusing on physical infrastructure tasks such as server installations, moves, and decommissions. The role involves travel between datacenter sites. Join a team where your expertise in server hardware, cabling, and power will be highly valued. This position is open due to the need for dedicated support in maintaining and optimizing datacenter operations. Key Responsibilities & Duties: • Rack, stack, and cable servers and related equipment • Perform server moves, adds, changes, and decommissions • Manage power connections and verify connectivity • Maintain rack organization and cable management standards • Troubleshoot basic physical issues • Execute hardware lifecycle tasks, including equipment relocation • Follow runbooks and change management processes • Update asset tracking and document completed work Required Qualifications & Experience: • Datacenter or hands-on hardware experience • Experience with enterprise server platforms, Cisco UCS preferred • Strong knowledge of server hardware, cabling, and power • Ability to travel as needed; eligible to operate a company vehicle • Ability to execute physical tasks reliably with minimal supervision Nice to Have Skills & Experience: • Exposure to enterprise storage platforms (Pure, Isilon, Cohesity) • Exposure to Cisco UCS platform • Basic understanding of SAN, virtualization, or networking Perks & Benefits: • 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance • Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance • Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the Datacenter Operations Tech opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
