University Library Technician - Collections & Research Engagement

The University Library Technician (Advanced) provides support for daily operations of the Collections & Research Engagement department as well as program and project support. They work closely with librarians who are responsible for collection management as well as research and instructional services. This position also plays a key role in helping the department promote collections and Libraries’ services and expertise through creating and maintaining outreach materials and participating in outreach efforts. They play an important customer service role by communicating with faculty, researchers, students, staff, vendors, and community members and are, at times, a first point of contact for questions and troubleshooting, especially through email.
