Cashier/Cook

Job Summary We are a SCRATCH KITCHEN seeking a committed and skilled Cook/Cashier to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be flexible and versatile with a passion for food service and a strong background in food preparation and customer service. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise in culinary techniques and food handling will ensure that our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. This role requires someone who can cook with confidence, take orders on our POS system and help maintain a clean, welcoming front-of-house. Responsibilities • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and menu plans. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. • Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety in the kitchen. • Participate in catering events, providing exceptional service and culinary expertise. Qualifications • Proven experience in a food service or restaurant environment • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. • Knowledge of food handling safety practices and regulations. • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse kitchen environment. • Excellent customer service skills • POS skills (Toast a plus) We are looking for someone who can take an order wit a smile and also thrive in the kitchen with skill and hustle.
