MSW, Social Worker, Union and Hannibal

A rural social worker is needed to support a Missouri-based, non-profit law firm that provides quality legal services to individuals with low-income and limited opportunities. This is a full-time, temporary (12-month) hybrid position supporting offices and clients in Union and Hannibal, Missouri. Approximately 70% of the work is remote; approximately 30% is in-person. Mileage is reimbursed. Essential Duties: • Provide crisis Intervention and case management via telephone and in-person to rural clients including initial assessment, safety planning, resource provision, and resource referral. • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement action plans to resolve crises and address unmet needs. • Assist offices located in Union and Hannibal, Missouri with ongoing development and implementation of outreach plans for their respective service areas. • Participate in community outreach activities through the development of collaborative partnerships, community presentations, client education, health fairs, and visits to community agencies.
