As a Retail Stocker, you will play an essential role in store operations by ensuring merchandise is properly handled, stocked, and available for customers.
Role and Responsibilities:
This position involves receiving, stocking, and organizing products to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient store environment. Success in this role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and strict adherence to safety procedures.
• Receive, stock, and replenish merchandise accurately.
• Follow safe lifting techniques when stocking products.
• Maintain organized, hazard-free aisles.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Report any safety or security concerns promptly.
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety guidelines.
• Replace damaged shelving, organize storage areas, manage hazardous materials, and ensure equipment is charged.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with smartphones and retail technology.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Lift up to 25 lbs independently, or more with assistance/accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Background in warehouse operations, including inventory and stocking.
