Key Responsibilities • Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts Receivable team, including workload distribution, performance management, and ongoing training • Oversee all AR functions, including billing, invoicing, cash application, adjustments, and account reconciliations • Ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards) • Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively minimize past‑due balances • Review and approve credit memos, write‑offs, and account adjustments within delegated authority • Partner with customers, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies • Prepare, analyze, and present AR reports to the Finance team and leadership • Support month‑end and year‑end close processes related to accounts receivable • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and detailed explanations • Identify and implement opportunities to improve AR processes, systems, and workflows • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues impacting billing or collections • Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience preferred but not required) • 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience within an AR or accounting function • Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and best practices • Proven people leadership, coaching, and team development skills • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
