Start Date: August 2-22, 2026 Location: San Jose, California Compensation: $30-35 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 25 hours per week guaranteed Overview / About the Family: A family traveling to San Jose for a one-month summer stay is seeking a dependable, proactive, and experienced nanny to provide full weekday childcare support for two children, ages 8 and 4. This role is focused exclusively on childcare and creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment while the family is away from their home base. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, energetic, and comfortable caring for both school-aged and younger children in a travel-based temporary placement. Responsibilities: • Provide full childcare support for an 8-year-old and 4-year-old • Engage children in age-appropriate activities, outings, and structured play • Support daily routines including meals, snacks, and transitions throughout the day • Plan and facilitate engaging indoor and outdoor activities • Ensure constant safety around the swimming pool and supervise children at all times when outdoors Requirements: • Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative • Energetic, flexible, and engaging personality • Experience in travel or temporary placements a plus • 3-5 professional references required • Must be able to swim confidently and supervise children in and around a pool Upon submitting this form, you will be considered for any suitable positions, so there is no need to complete multiple applications.
