Job Overview: D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Health and Safety Officer to join our team. This role will involve providing on-site safety training, implementing safety protocols as well as investigate and report incidents. The ideal candidate will have a solid background working in a construction setting, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Job Summary: As the On-Site Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees and contractors. This role will be critical in safeguarding the health and well-being of everyone on our job sites. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of on-site operations to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. • Develop and implement safety protocols, emergency response plans, and risk assessments. • Provide on-site safety training, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for employees and contractors. • Observe workers to ensure appropriate use of personal protection equipment is being implemented. • Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. • Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety programs, training records, and regulatory compliance. • Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related matters and coordinate with management to promote continuous improvement. Qualifications: • OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry. • Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. • 3-5 years of proven experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably in construction or industrial environments. • Ability to travel to job sites throughout the country over an extended period. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
