Controller (Food Manufacturing)

Job Title: Controller – Food Manufacturing Location: South of Fort Worth, TX Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in food manufacturing to lead accounting, financial controls, and cost management operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective inventory and cost controls, and compliance within a high-volume food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Canopy ERP (Aspen Systems) and deep expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis specific to the food industry. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong experience in manufacturing, specifically food manufacturing • Hands-on experience with Canopy ERP (Aspen Systems) is highly preferred • Deep knowledge of cost accounting, inventory controls, and manufacturing finance • Experience working with perishable goods, lot tracking, and traceability • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Experience: • Accounting: 8 years (Required) • Canopy ERP: 1 year (Required) • Meat Industry: 1 year (Required) • Food Manufacturing Industry: 1 year (Required) • Cost Accounting: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
