Job Summary As a Check-In Specialist, your primary objective is to facilitate a seamless, stress-free arrival process for our guests. Core Responsibilities • Reservation Management: Utilize Delta’s proprietary ticketing software to issue boarding passes, process upgrades, collect ancillary fees, and rebook flights. • Baggage Intake: Accurately weigh, tag, and dispatch checked luggage onto the conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with domestic and international baggage allowances. • International Compliance: Diligently verify passports, visas, and health documentation to ensure passengers meet all entry requirements for their destination countries, preventing costly regulatory fines. • Special Assistance: Provide dedicated, empathetic support for unaccompanied minors, travelers requiring wheelchair assistance, and passengers traveling with pets or oversized sporting equipment. • Kiosk Navigation: Actively roam the lobby floor to assist self-service customers, troubleshooting kiosk errors and expediting the check-in flow during peak departure banks.
