Sanitation Worker

New, easy-to-apply options are available for this role: chat with our recruiting assistant Ana at careers.cargill.com or text CargillJobs to 60196 Job type: Full time Schedule: Day shift & Night Shift Compensation: $21.38/hr Principal Accountabilities • Utilize cleaning tools, supplies and cleaning chemicals • Follow all Food Safety (HACCP), & GMPs policies • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment • Maintain a food safe work environment by maintaining hygienic work conditions • Comply with all GMP, safety, sanitation and any other plant rules as established by the company • Document completed tasks using the master sanitation schedule • Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship • Must be 18 years or older • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) • Basic Computer skills • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodation • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays with advance notice Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with food production environment • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience • Experience with Floor Scrubber Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
