Major Duties: Operates warehouse-type tractors to transport materials, furniture, and equipment within the installation, towing vehicles like wheeled trailers and dump carts using simple coupling devices.,Responsible for the proper loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring that towed vehicles are correctly balanced and securely connected to the tractor before transport.,Performs limited, routine operator maintenance on tractors and primarily operates on improved surfaces such as warehouse floors, parking areas, and roads.,Works under the direction of a supervisor, receiving oral and written instructions for tasks, with completed work reviewed for compliance with standard operating procedures.
