Delivery Driver / Warehouse Support San Francisco

Schedule: Sunday 5:00am - 1:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday 3:30am - 11:30am Saturday 6:00 - 12:00 POSITION SUMMARY Works closely with warehouse staff and ops team to pull orders, assist customers and maintain a clear and organized cooler and warehouse. Receive and process floral products: including staging, merchandising for sale and packing of orders. Responsible for driving a van or light truck safely to deliver or pick up merchandise, obtain signatures or payment. Help facilitate orders by packing and staging. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Warehouse/Cooler Become familiar with floral products: names, care & handling Receiving product and checking against transfer paperwork Inform your direct report of shortages and quality issues Staging product for order pulling for maximum efficiency Processing Sales floor display Inventory control / maintenance Rotation Pull and document orders per branch guidelines Packing orders per branch specifications Assist in counting of physical inventory Maintains quality service by following organizational standards Comprehension of warehouse floor plan, i.e. sales floor, inventory, orders, equipment storage Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, work-stations clean, complying with procedures, rules and regulations Follow all safety codes including keeping the cooler clean & free of debris and excess water Other duties as needed Warehouse Support & Delivery Driver Deliveries Work with Supervisor to determine efficient delivery route Ensure address on order matches up to delivery address Match delivery product to order Strap and label orders Organizes loading dock according to delivery routes Load van or truck according to delivery schedule – first delivery /last loaded Deliver goods to customers Deliver boxes to appropriate airlines following established procedures Collect Airbill for each order Verify box count for each airbill Write Airbill on each box to minimize location/airline error Take payments/ get signatures on company copy of invoice(s) Maintain logs of packages delivered Communicate any delays to supervisor Follow Drivers Policy Other duties as required Vehicle Inspection / Maintenance Inspect and maintain vehicle Communicate any vehicle issues immediately to supervisor Perform post trip inspection upon return to the warehouse Ensure vehicle is locked and secure when finished using Other duties as required Safety-Sensitive Position Disclosure (Non-DOT Drivers – All States) This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role because it requires the operation of company vehicles and directly impacts the safety of employees, customers, and the public. Warehouse Support & Delivery Driver MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work at a rapid, consistent pace in a physical job Follow instructions, complete tasks, inform supervisor of completion or challenges Team player/Dependable Clean driving record Valid driver’s license Proven working experience as a delivery driver Ability to stand, walk, and crouch or kneel Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
