Skilled Welder - Fabrication Welder Location: North Kansas City, MO Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time, In-Shop Job Summary An industry-leading, employee-owned company is building an in-house fabrication team and is looking for highly skilled, motivated welders to join the team in North Kansas City. This is a great opportunity for experienced welders who take pride in quality workmanship, want steady weekday hours, and are interested in being part of a growing fabrication operation from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on welding experience, a solid understanding of fabrication work, and the ability to produce high-quality welds in a shop environment. We are especially interested in candidates with pipe welding, TIG, stick, 6G, code welding, or fabrication experience, but we encourage skilled welders with related backgrounds to apply. Responsibilities • Perform high-quality welding and fabrication work in a shop environment • Work with pipe, fittings, components, and fabricated assemblies as assigned • Use welding processes such as TIG, stick, MIG, or other applicable methods based on experience and project needs • Read and interpret drawings, measurements, layouts, and work instructions • Prepare, fit, tack, and weld materials according to job requirements • Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and appearance • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards • Work independently and as part of a growing fabrication team Qualifications • Prior welding or fabrication experience required • Pipe welding, TIG, stick, 6G, code welding, or pressure piping experience preferred • Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds • Ability to read prints, drawings, tape measures, and basic layout information • Comfortable working in a fabrication/shop environment • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety • Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude • Ability to complete a weld test as part of the hiring process Preferred Experience • Pipe welding or pipe fabrication • TIG/GTAW and stick/SMAW welding • Carbon steel welding • 6G or other pipe welding qualifications • ASME/code welding experience • Spool fabrication or mechanical fabrication • Fitting, layout, or assembly experience Why Apply? • Join an industry-leading employee-owned company • Help build a new in-house fabrication team • Steady Monday–Friday daytime schedule • Opportunity for skilled welders to grow with the team • Comprehensive benefit package inclusive of PTO, Holiday Pay, 401K, medical, dental, vision, and other insurance options, bonus opportunities, and opportunity to earn stock in the company \#HP Skills: Detail Oriented, Organizational Skills, Piping, Quality Metrics, Safety Process, Safety/Work Safety, Team Player, Testing, Welding About the Company: Jarbo
