ABOUT THE JOB: THIS IS A CAREER OPPORTUNITY WITH A GROWING COMPANY!! • FULL TIME - (35 - 45) hours per week, some Saturdays. Overtime is available based on the needs of the business • STARTING PAY: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Depending on Experience - Preferred to have at least 1-year working experience in Moving, Delivery, Landscape, Construction, or Junk Removal JUNK SHOT Employees are trained to give pricing presentations, operate JUNK SHOT 360 APP software, and how to properly dispose of and/or recycle unwanted material from Homes, Apartments, and Businesses. Employees are supplied with a uniform for each day worked and are expected to maintain a professional appearance. Trucks are well maintained and equipped with AC and Bluetooth capability. Waste removal collectors are responsible for collecting and removing waste/junk, and hauling waste, and recyclable materials for further disposal. Typical job duties are operating a waste collection vehicle, reporting data, customer service, operating equipment while collecting waste, following the designated route for the day, communicating with dispatchers, collecting refuse, and reporting to supervisors, as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Remove, Haul, and Dispose/Recycle unwanted material from Single Family Residences, Businesses, and Apartment Communities. • Removing furniture, Construction Debris, Lawn/Landscape Debris, Clothing, Boxes, Trash, etc. • Load, Lift, and Consolidate debris into our dump trucks • Smartphone data entry including before and after job photos • Operation of company dump truck (No Special License Required) • Proper disposal of collected material utilizing a network of disposal facilities • Marketing Activities including but not limited to "cold stops" and passing out company flyers/ brochures to potential customers • Provide Courteous and Effective Service to all Clients by handling all communications in an efficient and professional manner • Follow ALL company procedures to provide appropriate solutions to known issues • Maintain company truck including monitoring fluid levels and service records COMPETENCIES: DRIVER MUST POSSESS A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH GOOD DRIVING HISTORY! EMPLOYEES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST & BACKGROUND CHECK! • Must have excellent communication skills and professional appearance • Able to Operate Smartphone Applications • Good navigational awareness • Able to follow Detailed Instructions, and make Critical Decisions on YOUR OWN • Must be able to lift and load 50-100 lbs. with another team member • Customer-focused communication • Maintain equipment • Good time management • At least 25 years of age to qualify for company-provided commercial insurance WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in the field or the waste removal vehicle. This role routinely uses standard smartphone applications, drives or navigates, and lifts waste products. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use their body to lift junk/waste. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Junk Shot is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Shifts and Saturday hours may vary based on the needs of the business.
