We are looking for an excellent candidate for a Label Press Production Assistant position on our label manufacturing team. As an assistant, you will be responsible for handling various raw materials necessary for production and supporting our team of Press Operators to produce high-quality label products. This role offers on-the-job training and is a great place to start a career in flexographic label converting. What You'll Be Doing: • Assist in the operation of a flexographic printing press & turret rewinder • Inspect, pack and assemble finished rolls of label products • Work as a team to keep our label press running at maximum capacity • Ensures company policies and quality control procedures are being followed • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and assist in maintaining housekeeping standards and safety initiatives throughout production area • Handle raw materials using equipment such as a pallet jack or forklift What We're Looking For: • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping for prolonged periods of time • Ability to lift 30lbs frequently and 80lbs occasionally • Willing to continuously learn and take responsibility for important production processes • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management Work Schedule: • Monday through Thursday, 5am to 3pm • Four-day work week with three-day weekends, every week.
