Lead Police Officer

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations Major Duties: Lead a patrol team of three or more officers, including Department of Army Civilian Police (DACP), Military Police (MP) and Department of Army Security Guards (DASG).,Provide direct oversight of all stages of investigations conducted by assigned DACP and MP personnel.,Provide sworn testimony based on investigative findings.,Reports team performance and training needs to leadership.,Conduct various law enforcement training programs for military and civilian personnel on the installation. Education: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
