Print Production Associate

We are a local print shop that takes pride in our excellent service, high quality work, and strong relationships with our clients and staff. We have been in business for going-on 40 years and have a strong customer base. Our team works closely together to maintain high standards and keep our customers satisfied. We are looking for a Production Staff Member to help with day-to-day printing, cutting, and finishing jobs. This is a hands-on role with opportunity for growth that requires A) a positive, can-do attitude, B) the ability to problem solve on the fly, and C) superb attention to detail. Familiarity with Adobe software or commercial printing may be considered but is not necessary. This is an entry level position and all training will be provided. Summary • Print Production Assistant - Assist in the printing and finishing of products, assist customers, and maintain a well organized work environment. Duties & Responsibilities • Operate commercial digital printers to produce a variety of print materials. • Assist with cutting, finishing, and packaging printed pieces. • Assist with producing decals, signage and other large format products. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Support other team members and general shop tasks as needed. • Answer phone calls and greet customers as needed. Skills / Requirements • Superb attention to detail, takes pride in doing high quality work • Friendly customer service • Strong team player with a positive can-do attitude • Self-motivated and able to work independently • Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot on the fly • Ability to learn products we offer • Good communication skills • Basic math skills • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and be on your feet most of the day • Good computer skills (General computer and email use is necessary. Experience with Adobe software is a plus but not necessary.) • No previous printing experience is necessary, we’ll provide full training.
