Floating Teacher Assistant - Miami Area

Education First is currently seeking proactive, energetic, and reliable Floating Teacher Assistants to join our substitute support team across the Miami area. This position will support multiple preschool locations, including: • 412 NE 22nd St, Miami, FL 33137 • 1101 Brickell Ave, North Tower, 8th Floor, Miami, FL 33131 Additional coverage at nearby preschool locations may also be required based on staffing needs. We are looking for team members who enjoy working with children of all ages, from infants to 5 years old, and who feel comfortable supporting different preschool locations when needed. What You’ll Do: • Support lead teachers in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment • Provide classroom coverage across different preschool locations when needed • Assist with daily routines, classroom activities, and learning experiences • Help foster children’s curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth • Collaborate with a supportive and passionate educational team What We’re Looking For: • Bilingual (English/Spanish) – required • Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills • Comfortable working with children from infants to 5 years old • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned preschool locations • Previous experience in early childhood education preferred • 45-hour DCF training preferred (or currently in progress) • CPR / First Aid certification preferred • CDA, Staff Credential, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education is a plus Why Join Education First? • Competitive hourly pay: $18–$24/hour • Full-time stable schedule • Mileage/travel reimbursement paid every two weeks through payroll after approved mileage log submission • Ongoing training and career growth opportunities • Supportive, mission-driven team culture • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children’s lives every day If you are passionate about working with children and looking to grow within a dynamic preschool environment, we would love to hear from you!
