A Seattle (Madison Park area) couple seek a Personal Assistant to handle a variety of household, personal administrative, and task/errand-running needs.
There is flexibility with when the work could be done, but will likely average 10 hours/week, or 40 hours/month.
This is a newly created position, so likely there will be an evolution to the role over time. For now, the focus will be on the following:
Personal and Property:
· Vendor management – schedule and oversee household vendors while they work on-site
· Uphold maintenance schedules – heating, plumbing, window washing, cleaning, repairs, etc
· Monitoring home when owners are away
· Errands (dry cleaning, post office runs, pick up order, returns, etc) Note: you must have a car; you will be reimbursed for mileage.
· Purchasing household items, and making sure things stay stocked
· Vehicle maintenance (oil changes, car washes, scheduled maintenance, etc.)
· Computer/tech work, such as organizing electronic files, responding to emails, device troubleshooting
· Event assistance/organizing – help plan, book caterers, purchase items, etc.
· Research
· May involve coordination with others (cleaners, vendors), but not management of others
· Many other small projects, as assigned
Admin:
· Admin support for small family foundation
o Email support
o Board meeting prep
o Basic tracking for grants
Requirements:
· You have experience in a similar role for at least one individual or family for a year or more. References will be called.
· Able to easily get to Madison Park, sometimes a few times/week, for onsite work at property
· Have your own vehicle and valid driver’s license
· Be tech-savvy (familiar with Apple products)
· Must be comfortable with dogs (owners do not currently have a dog, but may get a dog)
· Seeking a long-term position and can commit to a schedule that will not need to be changed drastically over time
· Punctual and efficient
· Organized and self-motivated (employer will usually not be around when you are doing your work)
· Discreet and confidential about your work
Workday:
· Hours worked will be a mix of on-site (in Madison Park), and remote. More on-site when owners are away than when they are in town.
· The hours worked are flexible, and can be arranged around your schedule, but should mostly be within standard business hours (i.e. this is not a role for someone looking for evening/weekend work)
Pay:
· Hourly rate, DOE
Additional information
· Candidate must pass an extensive background check.
· references will be called
· Candidate will be required to sign a Non Disclosure/ Confidentiality Agreement.
