Job Title: Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant Location: Downtown, NYC Salary: $60k – $65k Stable NYC based local Bank seeks an Assistant Loan Servicing Accountant Responsibilities: • Ensure loan transactions are recorded accurately and timely • Work with portfolio mortgages and investor loan portfolios. • Reconciling loan balances to the general ledger • Provide support for both an internal and external audit • Prioritize multiple deadlines, reconciliations, and exceptions to resolve on a timely basis. • Customer Service Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance • Knowledge of internal controls and audit requirements. • Experience with Loan Servicing Accounting a plus • Minimum 1 to 2 years of financial services industry experience • Strong customer service orientation • Proven ability in team building and employee development skills,
