Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, unusual conditions, or maintenance concerns. • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with wayfinding, and support a professional presence that helps to deter disruptions within patient care and public areas. • Communicate with staff, visitors, and first responders during medical emergencies, alarms, and/or other incidents, following post orders and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: • Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. • Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue. • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. • Be at least 21 years of age. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting, if required. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
