Austin Community Growth Partner (Part-Time)

Company Description MacroVision is a nutrition tracking app built to make tracking real-world eating easier. Users can log meals from restaurant menus, receipts, barcodes, meal prep recipes, and more. The app is live and growing, and we're looking for an Austin-based fitness enthusiast to help build our local presence and community. Role Description This part-time role of Austin Community Growth Partner at MacroVision is an on-site position based in Austin, TX. This is not a traditional marketing role. We're looking for someone who enjoys fitness, likes meeting people, and wants hands-on experience helping grow a startup from the ground up. Responsibilities • Attend local fitness events and community gatherings • Visit gyms, studios, and fitness businesses • Build relationships with trainers, coaches, gym owners, and local fitness communities • Help identify partnership opportunities • Create content and capture B-roll footage • Gather user feedback and market insights • Assist with event activations and vendor booths • Help execute grassroots growth initiatives • Represent MacroVision within the Austin fitness community Qualifications • Must be based in Austin, Texas • Passionate about fitness, nutrition, health, or wellness • Comfortable meeting and talking with new people • Comfortable being on camera • Reliable, self-motivated, and organized • Strong communication skills • Entrepreneurial mindset • Ability to take initiative and work independently Marketing experience is not required.
