Role Description Videographer role based in Milwaukee, WI. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and capture high-quality video content for various projects, including branded content, events, interviews, and social media videos. Daily responsibilities include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up and adjusting lighting, and collaborating with directors, producers, and other team members to execute creative concepts. The role also involves preparing equipment, scouting locations, managing footage, and ensuring that visual and audio quality standards are met. The Videographer will work closely with the post-production team by organizing and delivering files, providing input on edits, and supporting a smooth production workflow.
Qualifications
• Strong video production skills, including planning shots, storyboarding support, and understanding of production workflows.
• Proficiency in camera operation, including configuring camera settings and using different lenses and accessories effectively.
• Hands-on experience with shooting video in a variety of environments, ensuring stable, well-composed, and visually engaging footage.
• Practical knowledge of lighting for video, including setting up and adjusting lights to achieve desired moods and professional image quality.
• Familiarity with professional camera equipment and accessories, with the ability to maintain and troubleshoot gear as needed.
• Basic understanding of video editing concepts and formats; experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take creative direction and work as part of a diverse team.
• Ability to work on-site in Milwaukee, WI, and to handle the physical aspects of production, including lifting and transporting equipment.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in film, media production, or a related field is preferred.
