Position Summary:
Orlando Health is a 3,200-bed system that includes 15 wholly-owned hospitals and emergency departments; rehabilitation services, cancer institutes, heart institutes, imaging and laboratory services, wound care centers, physician offices for adults and pediatrics, skilled nursing facilities, an in-patient behavioral health facility, home healthcare services in partnership with LHC Group, and urgent care centers in partnership with CareSpot Urgent Care. Nearly 4,200 physicians, representing more than 80 medical specialties and subspecialties have privileges across the Orlando Health system, which employs nearly 22,000 team members. Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Manager, Security Systems ensures that all vehicles entering the parking deck have a valid parking
decal.
Essential Functions
• Maintains an accurate count of vehicles entering the lot and tracks available spaces.
• Directs customers to other available parking areas if parking deck fills to capacity and keeps Security Communication Specialist
informed and aware of the condition of the deck.
• Notifies the Security Communication Specialist of any safety or security concerns.
• Reports any vandalism or theft of property occurring in the parking deck directly to Security Communication Specialist.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions
• Responds to customers requesting information about parking and shuttle services in a professional manner.
• Directs customers accordingly who are seeking services on campus.
• Observes dress and behavior standards as outlined in Orlando Health and department policy.
• Performs other functions as directed by Manager of Security Systems.
Education/Training
Ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to write simple
correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers.
