What You’ll Do • Set your availability • Check your schedule • Drive to member's homes • Assist with simple tasks Contractor Role Helpers accept visits as independent contractors. • This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an employee position • You are responsible for your own taxes, transportation, and personal work choices • Linked Lives does not provide liability insurance for helpers or members • Stripe handles payouts and tax documents when applicable How It Works The helper signup and setup flow is handled online through Linked Lives. • Apply online and complete your helper profile • Progress through your application online • Set your availability and service area • Accept visits and help seniors near you Coverage Understand what Linked Lives does and does not cover. • Linked Lives does not insure helper vehicles, personal property, or personal liability • Use your own judgment before driving, lifting, entering a home, or accepting a task • Decline visits when the work, setting, or request does not feel right Member Screening Review each visit before deciding to accept. • Senior members are not background checked or formally vetted by Linked Lives • Visit details, member notes, location, and task information should guide your decision • You can decline any visit before accepting it Task Boundaries Stay within everyday help and personal comfort. • Do not perform medical, nursing, home health, personal-care, licensed, or hazardous work • Do not accept tasks that require credentials, specialized equipment, or professional judgment • Pause and contact support when a request changes after you arrive Perks & Opportunities You will enjoy a variety of perks that help you grow both personally and professionally.
