Children's Summer Day Camp and Class Enrichment Instructors

Popular children's enrichment program is seeking energetic, professional and passionate instructors (arts and crafts, science, slime, baking, dance, cheer, tumbling, preschool, musical theater and more) to lead summer camp programming to preschool and/or elementary age youth at local community centers throughout San Diego County between the hours of 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm. Lesson plans and outlines will be provided to follow. We are also seeking instructor to teach a variety of classes in the mornings in the summer between the hours of 9am-12pm on select days of the week (you do not have to be available every day for these). For those that are local to the San Diego area, we have the option of continuing iwth us during the upcoming 2026-2027 year for traditional weekly classes taking place anywhere between Monday though Saturday between the hours of 9am-7:00pm. Compensation is based on enrollment ranging from $25-45 per hour with the average based on camp/class enrollment ranging between $30-35 per hour plus gas for miles traveled roundtrip. Ideal candidate will be confident, a self-starter, reliable, outgoing, able to effectively engage and lead classes of up to 20 children at a time (with a co teacher or assistant for larger classes), have experience and a passion for working with children, leading end of session showcase performances (for dance and theater camps) for families and most importantly, have a fun and outgoing personality! Summer camps are run week to week during the summer starting the week of June 15th and ending the last week of July with paid training in the spring (or as soon as now if your schedule permits). You do NOT have to be available for every week and may choose specific weeks that work with your schedule (although if you are available all summer, that's fantastic too!).
