Verstela is hiring a **Warehouse Clerk** for a Global Industrial Supply Storefront. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering you a pay increase upon permanent hire, ability to train and develop your skills in the industrial supplies sector. As a **Warehouse Clerk**, you will fulfill daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of inventory. You will also be responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment. **Warehouse Clerk Job Duties:** - Received, unloaded, inspected, and organized incoming products, tools, and equipment while verifying shipments for accuracy and damage. - Maintained inventory control by sorting, labeling, stocking, cycle counting, and updating records in computerized inventory systems. - Issued and tracked tools, equipment, and supplies to employees, ensuring accurate documentation of check-outs and returns. - Monitored inventory levels, submitted replenishment requests, investigated missing items, and resolved inventory discrepancies. - Inspected, delivered, and performed basic maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting defects and supporting overall warehouse operations. **Schedule:** - Monday-Friday - 8:00am-4:30pm - Flexibility required for occasional coverage between 6:30am-5:00pm with notice **Pay:** - $19.00-$20.00 per hour (based on experience) - Pay increase upon permanent hire **Warehouse Clerk Requirements:** - Recent experience in retail or warehousing of 1-2 years - Strong attention to detail (managing over 10k products) - Able to stand, bend, lift and twist up to 50lbs. - Able to stand 8-10 hours per day - Computer/POS experience preferred or warehouse management system - This client participates in E-Verify program.
