Cashier & Sides Station

Stiles Switch BBQ is hiring now for our Sides Station & Cashier position at our North Lamar location. This is a customer-facing role where attitude and experience both matter. If you love people and Texas Craft BBQ, we might have a job for you.What You'll Do:- Welcome every guest with a warm, friendly attitude and help guide their order.- Work the sides station and cash register with efficiency and accuracy.- Communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and management throughout your shift.- Know the full menu inside and out - and be ready to answer any question a customer throws at you.- Manage your time wisely and stay on top of priorities during busy service periods.- Keep dining, service, and kitchen areas clean and well-organized.- Arrive on time, stay ready to hustle, and be a reliable part of the team.What We're Looking For:- A positive, team-first attitude.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.- Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Previous customer service experience is a plus.- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.- 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.- Must be able to reliably commute to Austin, Texas 78752What You Get:- $18.00 - $22.00 per hour- Tips + bonus opportunities- Employee discount (yes, on bbq)- Flexible Scheduling- Growth opportunities in the restaurant and our catering department.- Learning from some of the best in the Texas BBQ industry.We look forward to meeting you.
