Sales Associate - Children's Consignment Store

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, the ability to problem solve, learn quickly, have excellent time management, and be excited to contribute to a team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping and consigning experience for our customers. Responsibilities • Engage with customers on the sales floor and during consignment drop off. • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. • Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring product displays are appealing. • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. • Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. • Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and product rotation. • Assist in consignment intake. Requirements • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with customers effectively. • Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash. • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of customers. • Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
